Winter rains have done wonders to the East Bay and the hills are all green with vegetation, and many of these plants are usable and edible. On Wednesday, February 19, we will have a beautiful walk in Quarry Lakes Regional Park, learn to identify common edible plants, the safety and ethics of wild foraging and field cooking.
The trail is a loop of about 1.5 miles, easy, and accessible to strollers.
Cost is $20 per child, 4 yo and older. Children younger than 4 and adults are free. There's a $5 parking fee. Dogs are ok at an additional fee of $2 per dog. Full details will be emailed upon registration.
